About Facebook Login Page With Design and Features

In this blog post, We will see and discuss in detail how we can create a Facebook login page clone with features in HTML CSS, and JavaScript. This blog post is awesome because it is all about client-side work In which we design the Facebook login page. We will see how we can design the complete Layout using CSS with HTML. So through my blog posts, I will try my best so that you guys can get and deeper understanding of the design logic. Let's Move on to the Next block which is all About Pages Setup.

Complete Pages Layout And Setup

First, we will create the three pages index.html, style.css, and script.js. After this, We Will First Import the Google Poppins font, and For Extracting Colors I am using the Chrome color Zilla extension to extract the colors from the Facebook site for use in creating the custom login page same as Facebook. Let us move on to the next block where we discuss the HTML structure and CSS design in detail

HTML Layout With CSS Design

Let us discuss the HTML structure and CSS design. First Let's see what we do in HTML. we will try to understand the things with ease. We use input, div, h2, h3, h4 with classes for the HTML layout.

This HTML structure includes two inputs of type text and password with the button with the type button. After this, we use the classes to edit them again in CSS to create the same layout of the login. We will start the CSS part by linking CSS first with our HTML page index.html. After this, we start the editing part in the CSS where we edit all the elements of the HTML by using the classes. After this, we make the login page mobile responsive to make it user-friendly for all devices.
By default, we have two colors that come with a 1px solid border. We use these colors to print alert messages when we integrate the form feature in JavaScript. Additionally, we have created two more classes named "d_none" and "disabled". The "d_none" class is used for "display:none" and the "disabled" class is used for "opacity:0.5; pointer-events:none;". In the next block, we will discuss the JavaScript part required to validate both input fields in the form.

Default functions to create the login page design

We have default functions that handle printing success and error messages, disabling buttons, displaying processing, and resetting the UI. Next, we will focus on form validation using advanced-level JavaScript validation techniques to validate all the form fields.

Advanced Level Form Validation in JavaScript (Features of Facebook Login)

In this logic, we first check whether the input is empty or not. Then we validate the email address provided by the user using a JavaScript test function with the pattern (/^[^\s@]+@[^\s@]+\.[^\s@]{2,}/$). Finally, we check if the password is more than 8 characters long. If it is, the user is logged in successfully. This is how the Facebook page login works.

Steps to Follow

1. Create an HTML structure
2. Design page using CSS
3. Integrate JavaScript
4. Initiate default functions
5. Validate form fields
6. Print the last logged-in message
7. Finish

Final Conclusion

Let's explore how to create a stunning Facebook login page design with form validation in JavaScript by discussing all the topics and headings in detail.
